I was not overly high on the previous films in the series and this was a monstrous step above those. I really enjoyed the sci-fi bent that the film took. I liked the hollow Earth element of King of the Monsters and it was cool how this fleshed it out a lot. The real stand-out of Godzilla vs. Kong though is the fights. I think they are some of the best giant monster fights ever.

I think the movie is great overall but the human characters felt flat at times and took away from Godzilla and Kong. The monster fights, the cgi and the surprise villain at the end made this a movie really enjoyable to watch on repeat. I hope there is a continuation to both Godzilla and Kong.

A total blast of a movie, just pure dumb fun. The human characters are very underdeveloped and lacking at times but the monster action more than makes up for it. The visual effects are just breathtaking and the sound design and score match it in epicness! I can't wait to see this on a big IMAX screen once I feel safe to do so!

I really enjoyed the film and felt it was, overall, well done. Good story and amazing action with a lot of surprising twists. The only negative feelings I have is the movie's ability to sell the viability or logic of the events and why certain things went the way they did. Godzilla simply melting a whole into the core doesn't make sense.
