I don't know about anyone else (I attended alone) but it wasn't the movie I thought I'd be seeing. I assumed it would be more the author revealing Mister Rogers' life to us rather than the other way around. Movie wasn't bad (though it was a downer a lot of the time) just very different from what I would expect from a Mister Rogers movie after the incredible documentary from last year. I look forward to how the critics and public react.

Wow - what a great movie! I was expecting more of a biopic type of film when I arrived and was surprised to find they decided to go another route. I loved the way they did it! Tom hanks was a great choice to play Mister Rogers as he is nearly a modern day version. Great story and it made me want to dive deeper into the life of Mister Rogers. This also hit on nostalgia as I grew up watching him. Would recommend. This heartfelt film that everyone needs to see!

I was expecting a biopic type movie regarding Fred Rogers' life and the T.V. show, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. It was nothing of the sort, but it was an awesome movie. The movie showed us Fred Rogers outside being our "neighbor". The audience saw him as a compassionate man who genuinely loved his fellow man. His goal was to elevated and edified children and adults alike more off the screen than on the screen. I believe this movie will allow the audience to do some real soul searching.
