NONE of the characters in the movie deserved to be called "royalty"!

I was looking forward to this movie and was actually let down. The scenery, costumes, music and acting were all quite well done however I feel the character of Mary was just not well-developed as compared to that of Elizabeth. We saw so much depth and growth in her yet in Mary's character there seemed to be a bit of plodding along and not the measureable wherewithal I was hoping to find. Of course, history is history and it is not a fun story but I was looking for a bit more in Mary.
