The film was mixed with suspense, drama, and action. The premise was interesting, and it kept me interested and focused on the film, and how the plot unfolded. The family relationship was well-portrayed, well written. The CGI did not overshadow the acting; it was well-balanced. The film portrayed the impact of the meteors through the eyes of the actors, and avoided the cliche-ish shots of the special effects of the meteor damage from a omniscient view. However, the impact of the meteors should have been shown as more devastating; a meteor the size of Europe should have leveled all buildings. There should have been one giant crater where Paris or Rome once stood.

Entertaining, so would recommend, but pretty usual doomsday type of movie, bring family back together again, makes you think about how hard it is to say goodbye and the importance of trying to be prepared for a disaster. Surprising how little pets were involved in most key role lives, with the exception of the horse.

a little hokey, but a good distraction from current day events.

Too stressful in this stressful time......might be enjoyed by people during simpler, easier times after covid....
