4.5/5: I thought "Isle of Dogs" was one of Wes Anderson's best films in recent years. Wonderful animation and photography rounded out with a stellar voice cast and layered storytelling.

Another fun Wes Anderson movie!

I liked a lot of it (completely beautiful, wonderful cast, lots of background detail that probably rewards multiple viewings.) I did wonder about cultural appropriation while I was watching it, though. It might make sense in marketing to mention any cultural advisers to the film.

I liked the animation. The storyline was a little weird but there were parts that were funny.
