Scary and entertaining but same story as many films before

Overall I liked the movie. It borrowed a lot from "Alien". It was intense. I guessed that "Calvin" would make to earth somehow. Kinda bugged me that the humans couldn't figure out a way to destroy the alien. As a sci-fi horror show it was good. Not awesome, but good.

It didn't meet my expectations

It should have ended differently. If she would have made it back to earth, then she could've told the story and maybe they could have sent scientist back out of space to look for this creature. That would've been a good set up for a second movie :)
