A very well made thriller. I typically love horror/gore, but this was at times hard to watch as it hit too close to home. Not the film's fault by any means. For such a simple premise, the film managed to keep your attention the entire time which is very impressive.

I’d recommend it to others with the heads up that it’s very dark and disturbing, similar to squid game and hunger games. I thought it was really well done but the subject matter was a lot for me to handle. The gunshots were literally making me jump out of my seat, which I’m sure is part of the point. I enjoyed the actors very much.

Although there were no name stars in this film, the acting was pretty good. The subject matter was very unsettling, but that's Stephen King. The dialogue among the actors felt real, and although you would think all that walking in the movie would be boring or monotonous, it held my interest.

I thought The Long Walk was really solid. The pacing was tight and tense, and the violence was graphic but effective, making you care about the characters despite limited backstory. Performances were uneven—Cooper Hoffman grew into his role, while David Jonsson was magnetic, though his noticeably inconsistent dialect was distracting. Some clunky dialogue left moments feeling flat, and the ambiguous ending felt more confusing than meaningful. Still, it lived up to the trailer and was a tense, memorable watch.
