a fine spy thriller

The plot was weak and it was hard to follow why they were meeting in Dubai to have a big shootout. The plot just didn't seem believable.

I am new to the series; from my viewpoint, it was a good movie. I thought John K was good as Jack Ryan; Wendell Pierce is always excellent. I did have trouble following the plot at times; again, that may be my lack of knowledge of the story/characters. LOTS of shooting; if someone doesn't like machine guns, this is NOT the movie for them! Good ending; the bad guys lost and Jack's ready for his next move toward the presidency.

Better acting.
