It was a very straight forward period piece. I think the trailers were very misleading since there was not much tension between Mary and Elizabeth, in face Elizabeth was hardly present or important in the movie at all. Most of the marketing took from the last 10 minutes of the film. I feel like there could have been a more interesting story there about whether or not Mary was conspiring against Elizabeth before being sentenced to death.

It was ok. I felt lost at the beginning. There wasn't enough back story provided to explain the significance of the"meeting" of the two queens.

Very hard to decipher the dialog.

It was pretty good.
