Wonderful, reverting, true to formfor the era. Denzel and Viola were spectacular.

Powerful movie!

Such a heartfelt movie that we all can relate to.

This movie was a present surprise. I didn't expect an adaptation of the play to be able to provide enough of the story to connect me to the characters, but it did. The movie as a whole had some of the best acting I've seen all year, particularly Washington and Davis. I have already purchased tickets to see Fences again!
