It was extremely intense. DiCaprio was stunning, some of the scenes unbelievable like the bear attack.....grisly and painful to watch. My only complaint is that I always want to see a happy ending. I think he should have lived after going through all that pain and suffering and making it, he should not have given up and given in, he was too strong a man to do that after living through the hell he endured. Just sayiing, that's my opinion.

Nice cinematography but not for everybody.

It's a story about loss, grief, long-suffering & revenge. Tom Hardy was brilliantly evil & Leonardo DiCaprio was a great protagonist. I give this film two thumbs up.
