n my opinion it's a very good film.. Especially the ending of movie..emotional and impressively, but little bit too long..

very good remake. strong performances, both lead and supporting. will recommend to others.

Gorgeous scenery, wonderful images of the workers on the farm and perfect costumes to start. It was truly romantic with a capital "R" albeit somewhat gentle for a Hardy story. Strong affection rather than passion, but enjoyable nevertheless.
