I thought this movie was terrible. The acting was awful. It was extremely corny and cheesy. The storyline moved so quickly and was ridiculous. I would have left if it wasn’t for the group of people I went with. I wrote lesson plans on a pad of paper I had in my purse. That is how much I did not want to watch it.

Venom was too friendly and didn't feel like an antihero. Too much time was used to show the symptoms of Venom and felt like filler. Venom looked cool, but he didn't even have much screen time. The film tried too hard to be funny and really didn't need jokes. I really wanted to like this movie or at least enjoy some great action scenes, but it failed to do even that. The first set of action scenes lack a consistency of Venom, which gave me very little reason to even care. Very disappointing.

Dark comedy, but unintentionally funny in a lot of moments; not terrible but a lot of bad editing in parts; still quite entertaining

This movie was one that I was looking forward to ever since the trailers came out and I can say that it delivered what I expected but it didn't not go above and beyond as most marvel movies would. I feel that the scenes in the trailers were basically the only exciting and intense scenes from the movie so it kind of killed the thrill when I saw the movie. I just wished there was more plot twists or better written dialogue as nothing the characters said or did were truly funny or intriguing.
