A bleak, disturbing film that I wish I could unsee, and it is unredeemed by the production values, writing, or acting.

Firstly, the screening didn't work. When it was supposed to start, the website stopped responding and gave me errors when I tried to reload. I ended up watching via another source. Movie: Good performance from Carey Mulligan. The rest was a very mixed bag. I liked the themes that it attempted to address, but it was ruined by poor, unnuanced writing. The situations and characters were very frequently unrealistic, which hurt the message of the film. Tonally all over the place, caught somewhere between romcom, thriller, black comedy. Last part of the film was full of eye rolls and cringe.

I thought it was odd and kind of disturbing.

I just didn't care too much for the film. Was slow moving at times as well.
