I was really excited to see this movie but it just wasn’t for me. It was slow and a little bizarre. The last 20 minutes were the best part.

Although an interesting commentary on rape culture, especially before (and even after) #metoo this film not only villanizes "all men" but doesn't do much to "redeem" our main character Cassie. Her anger an rampage, although can be viewed as "justified" turns her into the bad guy seeking revenge. Though the men in this film are bad guys, it leaves the audience questioning "wasn't there a better way?" \rAdditionally, the script and development of the film was poorly written leaving many plot holes and no nuance whatsoever.

Thank you for the screening, I appreciate it! Unfortunately the film doesn't have the edge or intellectual rigor (or aesthetic character) that it would need to be what I think it wanted to be. The trailer makes it look darker, edgier. \r\rThanks though!
