The acting was excellent, especially woody harrelsonThe telling of this family, made you think, no matter what you go through with your family, they are still your family, and need to love them no matter the circumstances.

This was an outstanding movie for all ages. Very, very good

Great characters and performances. Funny, at times over-the-top, and yet thought-provoking and relatable. Afterwards, we were thinking a lot about our family and childhood experiences, and how we all share a set of common emotions, even though our experiences may be vastly different. Ultimately, the movie left me with a feeling of gratefulness, expreased by the main character in the closing scene.

I loved this movie. It was sad, but ended with a very good message to stick to your heart and not be ashamed of where you come from. The father's love for his family was very moving despite the ugly secret that kept him from really being able to build that castle. He instilled some very good things in those children.
