This was a great movie. I laughed, I cried, I identified with different characters and issues throughout. I appreciated the depiction of real Americans of different colors, backgrounds and belief systems in a mainstream production. This is what America looks like. Love it!

Over all I enjoyed the movie. Usually, I try to select movies with no swearing. My favorite parts were when Kumail stayed by Emily's side during the time she was in the hospital; and when Emily went to New York to follow Kumail. This is a movie I would recommend to my friends.

I thought it was a good movie. Having traveled to India & Pakistan a number of times I understood the cultural aspects. It was good to come out of a movie feeling good. Tired of all the computer pyrotechnics or the violence. My wife would have rated it 3 stars as she said it was a bit unrealistic.

An "F" rated romantic comedy that boyfriends across the country can unashamedly attend with their partners. Does suffer a bit from the complete lack of tension given that we know Emily makes a full recovery and gets back together with Kumail. Still, outstanding performances from the supporting cast, especially the much loved Raymond, and plenty of humor help smooth over its flaws.
