The story of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ has been told many times. Risen presents a new angle on the story that makes it engaging and fresh. I would highly recommend this movie to Christians and non-Christians alike. It's an often brutal detective story that takes place during Jesus Christ's final hours and the days following his death. It explores the questions of faith and belief in a completely believable fashion. Great movie!
