It started out really fast paced and ended suddenly. It didn't really give you any feel for the characters stories. It felt like that piece was missing. However, the fear factor and the effects were great!

The suspense and climactic moments were great however Kirsten Stewart is not the best actress and it felt like the emotions she displayed were stained. Some of the logistics of the film were very far fetched such as when the suit helmet was able to be broken using a fire extinguisher in two blows while the underwater pressure could not crack it. Horror film fans would probably like this movie. It did have a few scenes that surprised and shocked the audience. Otherwise, the plot was pretty predictable and reminiscent of other horror stories.

As long as you dont expect to see the monster maybe you shoukd see it . But could they not had spend a bit more time developing the creature that you can barely see . The little creatires were more menacing but barely visible . This new way of filming in darkness dies not work for me . Film had its moments but few and far between .
