CG looked goofy in most of the film, like something you'd see in The Mask or Roger Rabbit. Not the best, but plenty of room to improve for the next one.

The movie doesn’t know if it’s a comedy, horror, a buddy-cop film or a drama and since it tries to be all things it fails to live up to its potential. It has studio hands all over the dialogue and plot and reeks of rewrites and punch ups. The cgi battle at the end was a mess of oil blobs that made zero sense. I have no idea what happened, I think the 2 blobs became 1 blob at one point? What was the point of making this movie = cash grab.

Everything seemed phoned in.

Beginning was too slow and boring. Did improve some but not much. Horrible cgi, looked like venom had little sticky hands
