The movie is a great movie.

Thought the movie was awesome. I gave it a 5 star for acting and content. I like movies to be closer to 2 hours long (just my opinion) and it would have been nice if during the couple times there was conversation, the dad would have talked about why and how the creatures came to earth. He could have just discussed it with the son while filling in the audience. And where did they get the sand?

The atmosphere was incredibly unsettling so that each jump scare truly hit home. The acting was well done, I really bought the emotion in each scene especially the penultimate. The gore wasn't over the top but perfectly balanced, and the monsters had presence that had me white knuckling my seat each time they appeared. Krasinski should really direct more, he made a very fine film.
