I though George Clooney did a fantastic job on directing this film. The juxtaposition between the white family who was killing people and the African American family who were being attacked just because of the color of their skin was very eye opening to the events that happened and are still happening to this day. The message in this film brings light to the harsh racial issue that still occur

Very good, definitely makes one think, the racialIssues were very dynamic. The Coen Brothers never disappoint and are so on target with our society. The audience was interesting, there was a gasp as the racial issues came up - a good indication that we have come a long way - but we really haven’t, have we?

5th generation Irish Americans (like myself) will find this film an irresistible cathartic tomato we can laughingly throw at our blatantly racist "white" great grandparents. Our culture is incredibly flawed, but it feels so good to publicly laugh at how messed up things were....and still are. White collar crime and blind eyes permit evil, but...let's just stay the same and pretend everything's ok
