An extraordinary voice and talent round up an already excellent bio. The film was a tribute to her music but did not erase the personal and professional demons that she faced. Angela Ackie was able to convincingly bring to life the musical performances and visual recreations that relied on lip sync. Especially notable and impressive was Angela and Nefessas chemistry. I really enjoyed the film.

It was a long movie but I did like the fact that it did not sugarcoat her true life. It showed the good girl & the not so good girl. How she sacraficed her true self for her family & the music industry. She was a gift to us from God but we all have our flaws that makes us imperfect. All & all I enjoyed the acting & definitly the music. I felt her spirit thruout the entire movie.

This movie was eye-opening. I thought I knew so much about Whitney before I saw it, but learned some new information. It was entertaining, had some great laughs mixed in with the sad parts of her life. I was glad her death wasn’t shown on camera because it was appropriate for older children like my daughter who also loved it. Excellent performances from the actors. Bravo!

This was a awesome movie. I feel it tells the true story of Whitney and the real struggle she went thru with her father being abusive to her and her mom. The true love that her brother had for her and her producer was one of a kind. I truly enjoyed.
