This was a perfectly blended film! It had a solid story line; a little comedy, a little drama and a little romance - all without coming off cheesy. The music was great, even my hyper critical musician husband LOVED it!! I think it's a great film for all ages as it has aspects that every generation can relate to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Excellent music and the movie was a lot of fun. The kid looked like Billie Joe from Green Day in some of his musical phases. Good job by the entire cast.

John Carney delivered another brilliant insight into the passion of young musicians. Excellent performances from every player, musical and emotional. Really a treat!
