This was a great film that just barely scratched the surface of the wonderful artist that Mary J is.

Very real portrayal of what made her who she is. Her struggles working thru the drama and coming out victorious.

It was real nothing was held back. I have so much more respect for her

This documentary is must see, especially for anyone who considers themselves a fan of MJB. You learn of the trials, tribulations, and celebrations Mary endured over the years and the impact and influence it had on her songs and career. It was beautifully crafted and there is so much black joy and love present. You cannot help but experience that yourself throughout the film.
