I loved how the concert was put into the context of the times. My only wish, and could’ve been the theater we were in, was I wish were more enveloped in the sound. Maybe if it was a bit louder.

Summer of Soul was an excellent documentary about a forgotten musical festival in Harlem in 1969. This music festival was an iconic event that instilled pride, culture and joy among the performers and the audience.

To a older person THEY WOULD LOVE THAT TIME ERA. Especially in NYC

This movie comes at a great opportunity to make young people aware of their cultural beginnings.My wife and I enjoyed the movie!
