The nod to Diahann, Nancy & Doris Dayat the end was great. This movie's like a classic 60's movie from the black perspective with perfectly imperfect characters. Beautiful sets, clothes, hair & I loved the story! The lead actor gave me that strong, silent type vibe. He was too quiet at first but I guess it was character development to show the passage of time. I loved the strong female characters in this movie. They weren't predictable because they were REAL! I appreciated Lacy not being a jerk after all, just a man in love with a woman who loved another man more. This movie is inspirational!
