Use of voiceover and telling us rather than showing us (IE Nicholas Hoult's character (and where did he go??)) reveals story problems

Interesting, fascinating, dark & disturbing, but ultimately a little too convoluted with a few plausibility gaps.

Was better than expected. Not very strong acting but Geyer than average flow. Weak character development.

It was bit slow to start of with, but then it did get better. 2 1/2 *'s out of 5.
