Midway is a visceral war film depicting a pivotal battle of WWII. The aerial photography and naval warfare is breathtaking.

I thought is was so good. I liked the fact that even though we were at war with Japan, and yes they did some barbaric things in the name of war, there were reasons for their actions too. Woody Harrelson was fantastic!

This movie gets a 90% score. It is masterful storytelling.You get two battles in one...the attack on Pearl Harbor and the battle of Midway.The story is also told from both sides of the war(Americans and Japanese). There are only a few instances of cheesy dialogue. This is otherwise a great movie.
