Excellent!! It is not often that a movie is as good as the book - but in this case it is true!

It was excellent and a perfect portrayal of today's world!! I cried the entire time. It was so emotional and well thought out and executed!!!

The Hate U Give is simply an emotional rollercoaster. Anger, sadness, helplessness, understanding, relief are all emotions that you feel. This is the simple side; more complicated the movie is a work of social art.

It was a very beautiful, moving, & topical film. I cried during 90% of it. Amandla did a great job.
