A little over the top, but still fun.

I enjoyed the movie, but it has a lot of shortcomings.The premise is cool don't get me wrong, but man the movie looses its steam about halfway through. We get into sequences that are kind of annoying because of characters actions. It's a lot of lost family needs to find each other for 40 minutes kind of stuff. The suspense is there, but by the end it kind of just wraps up in a very predictable way. This will be worth a rent when it's out, but I couldn't see paying premium to catch this one yet when so many other films have a much bigger scale than this movie and do a better job of creating that suspense.

While expected to be silly, the film focused too much on one family’s attempt to make to Greenland than the extinction of the planet - especially with silly plot lines like a kidnapping. This had potential and perhaps was better suited for summer, but lands instead with a thud during a pandemic.

I didn’t really know what was going on, I can into this thinking this all was taking place in Greenland
