too slow.

It was not my general kind of movie but I still thought it dragged on too long. Great cinematography, good story. I might recommend it to someone that I knew enjoyed this kind of movie.

On the positive side - the lead actors were good, especially Bichir. His final scene was particularly poignant. The landscape was breathtaking.\r\rI like Robin Wright and wanted to like this movie, but there were too many issues. The story was implausible and the actions of Wright's character did not add up to a seamless story arc. Too many logic jumps. The script was bad. The sound seemed to get really muddy. The Foley was precise but very poorly mixed in many cases. \r\rThe dog seemed to come in and out, leading me to think he was not on the shoot consistently.\r

It moved very slowly and then did I zone out or did we never learn what happened to her family? I also didn't like the ending. I would have preferred more information after she contacted her sister.
