A touching, sweet, funny movie with superb, sincere performances all around.

I'd choose 4 & 1/2 stars if that was an option. My guest and I thoroughly enjoyed Maudie. We found it touching, poignant, amusing and heart-warming. It mad you feel so many emotions. I wasn't familiar with Sally Hawkins - she was phenomenal and so was Ethan. They made us believe they were Maudie and Everett. I see Oscar nominations in their future.

Great story that moves along well. Lead actress was great. Beautiful scenery.
