Toooo much smoking by lead character. Really, did he smoke every second of his waking day?? McConaughey was a little over the top. Story not bad.

The booze and cigarettes was crazy. Although, nothing could be more 'over the top' then the constant reminder of how overweight balding men in their 40s look in their underwear. The stand out was Edgar Ramirez. Based on how the movie ended up, it would have been far more interesting following his efforts capitalizing on the situation, planning options, and staying true to his relationship.

Acting was good but I was confused at the end at what exactly happened! I'll have to look up the real story.

I'd have liked to have given 2.5 stars. It was very slow moving. Average performances.
