Violent Night was what I expected and more. It was a blend of Die Hard/Home Alone/ miracle on 34th St. It was funny and it leveled up Die Hard with the gore. It was an interesting mix but it worked. It is definitely going in my Christmas movie rotation. It’s a definite a go see in the Theater because the crowd reaction to the gore is excellent!!! Go see this movie!!!!

Amusingly dark and entertaining spoof providing laughs and holiday magic.

Not what I expected. You can take the whole family to this film. It is funny in spots, and even though there is violence it seems the gorier parts are kept in the shadows/darkness, so you get the idea without actually seeing it. There is some coarse language but even that is made fun of at times. A feel good movie, recommend it to all.
