Im still trying to gather myself and my thoughts after watching such a phenomenal film. Brilliant writing, authentic acting, heartbreaking story yet inspiring— overall, one of the best films I’ve seen in a while!

This was one of the best movies that I have seen in a while. It was so uplifting to see as a black man in America. Especially, after finding out Fred Hampton was only 21.

Excellent! Great story, acting and director. Loved the mix of live footage/pictures to underscore the plot. Kudos to Lakeith Stanfield! Outstanding performance!
