As the title suggests, this movie was always going to be chaotic. Wanted to love this movie, and there were parts I really liked, but the CG and some of the animation and compositing really jumped out at me as wrong or weird (animator so I see that stuff) And what was with Billy Connelly? It doesn't look like his face was actually filmed at all, just CG animated. Also, Legolas stair climb :(

i thought it was a pretty good movie even though i haven't seen the other hobbit movies or lord of the rings i stil liked it

Great conclusion, though does share the padded feel that runs through this trilogy

I was expecting more from this movie.
