I expected more about Mr. Rogers and his life than being a story about the magazine guy, but it was still a good movie with some hard topics in it. Tom Hanks did an excellent job.

Sentimental but affecting story with outstanding performances by Chris Cooper, Tom Hanks, and Matt Rhys. It will evoke nostalgia for many, and a longing for people like Fred Rogers who don't seem to exist today. The movie's editing could be improved, and the dream sequence toward the end didn't really fit and was poorly explained. Overall, though, a feel-good movie with great acting.-30-
