It's definitely dark, and the violence was shocking, but appropriate for the film. Acting and character motivations came together well. Aidan Delbis is really good. His portrayal of Donnie feels authentic, not the smartest, who is strung along by the smarter but misguided and damaged Teddy. Reading that Delbis is on the autism spectrum (IMDB) this is a superb performance for a role that fits his talents. I definitely would love to see him again. I would recommend, but judiciously based on what I know of people's tastes. I could see pairing this with The Man Who Fell to Earth.

Surprised ending

Enjoyable movie - felt very A24 which I could give or take but the acting was fantastic and the plot well structured
