Highly recommend this powerfully acted movie. Subject of living in a mostly poor black neighborhood, both the good and the bad, is remarkably portrayed.

It was PHENOMENAL!

It followed the book very closely and gave the big moments their due. I found it enjoyable, emotional, and full of a good message for viewers.

Powerful story very well acted. Amandla Stenberg was terrific.
