Only reading 1/2 of Insurgent prior to watching the movie I can say that what I read & what I watched were pretty close. I did feel the movie went at warp speed during the initial quarter of it not giving time to connect w/ certain characters. Then quickly transitioned after that to a smooth and even pace to appreciate the journey of Four and Tris. And, Miles Teller amazing as Peter!

I thought it had a lot of action but was told by several people that it did not follow the story line in the book.

Very enjoyable movie, I thought it was better than the first one. Great storyline and action throughout.

Its good movie! I enjoyed the action and the story but it got a little slow toward the end but other than that its great.
