The movie was good. A little predictable. Nothing new, kind of the same premise with all of these "asteroid hits the earth" movies. I would have liked to seen something that made me think. Something like a major or significant decision the parents had to make. Show the darker side of human interaction in the midst of disaster. Too many people willing to help. Didn't seem realistic. Someone needs to make a "R" rated disaster movie. Think the Purge merged with San Andreas. That could be a blockbuster.

Enjoyable disaster flick. A little formulaic but good blend of action and drama.

I found too many situations that I was asked to accept were an assault to my intelligence. And some of the acting was mediocre. The special effects were good however.
