two and one half stars.The movie it is hard to figure out exactly what it is all about.The photography is is great and the acting by the man actor very good

Slow and Bizarre

I didn't enjoy the story, it was slow moving and draggy. Daniel Day-Lewis' acting held the film together. But, I was relieved when the film ended.

Stupid premise, nonsense "reveal" about power struggle, poor script, uninteresting production with lots of static interiors and exteriors. If you love gowns and dresses then see it.
