Definitely pointed out the way the ultra rich view the world, which we still see in with two of the Koch brothers today. Unfortunately, didn't really get a sense of how the son survived - where did he learn to stay calm and maintain his composure during the long ordeal? It is too easy for those who inherit wealth to become complacent in the power of the family. Would have liked to have seen him question why he wasn't released... or show at least a little anger at his grandfather.

The seamless transition from Spacey to Plummer. Michelle Williams and Christopher Plummer gives us Oscar worthy performances. They transform into the Getty family which makes the movie even more satisfying. The master craft of Ridley Scott's directing is exceptional. This Christmas, make the story of J.P. Getty a part of your holidays.
