Such a simple yet touching film. I rarely love movie endings but I loved how this ended so starkly and with such closure by resolving loose ends. What a touching scene on which to end. Great natural dialogue. Some beautiful cinematography of the various locales across the Eastern Seaboard. I especially loved the aerial shots of the Amtrak train churning through the evening cityscape. Enjoyed it!

I thought it was a really great movie overall. I loved the actors and the characters they played. I think that a few moments were a bit confusing for me, but it might be because I don't come from a military family (and I was 8 years old in 2003 for context).
