This was not the typical civil rights movie. It contained a balance of humanity while still accurately portraying the works of Blacks and Whites to do what was right regardless of what current constitutional law stated. Morals before all else and humanity before all else. I liked it.

I found this movie truly inspirational of strong characters and true to life stories of humanity. I liked the fresh new faces on a movie like this, with the exception of Kate Hudson. I don't recall seeing much of these actors on other movies, maybe the jew lawyer but it was a treat to have unfamiliar or unheard of talent harnessing a movie drama such as this.

Marshall was a great movie that touched every emotion. We laughed and cried throughout it.

It was refreshing to see a civil rights film that doesn't make white people the "bad guy" and black people the victim. I really enjoyed the film and hope they do a sequel.
