Excellent storytelling, powerful and painful to watch. Thankful to understand more about a historical event; but heartbroken to see the horrid social injustices.

Good film. I didn't know the story before the film. Thanks gofobo for letting me and my family have these opportunities. It's hard to afford movies sometimes.

Detroit was a very emotional and riveting movie. There was never a lapse in intensity and it kept my attention the whole time. Knowing this was based on a true story really brought things home. I would highly recommend this film.

I enjoyed the movie, but it was sad.
