Another haunted house movie? Was suspenseful at times and even sent chills down my spine, but another haunted house movie? Didn't really figure out why the house was haunted - over my head.Glad I didn't pay to see it.

The movie plot wasnt thought out well. Couldve been more suspenseful.

This was one of the worst horror movies I've seen in a while. It had clumsy acting and some parts were so silly that people in the audience would laugh when it was supposed to be scary. I should've known sine most movie studios dump the bad horror movies in January every year.

With the horror genre, you have movies that are trying to be serious and scary. Then you have horror movies that know they are ridiculous and they embrace it. This movie tried to go for serious and scary but failed to execute. Therefore it's hard to put it in the same spot as a good, bad scary movie. There is a great amount of overacting, and many points of the plot are not explained (such as the bye bye man's demon dog). There are some great effects and Doug can pull off any makeup. The twist at the end was great but not enough to make up for the poor execution of a thin story line.
