The Black Phone gave vibes of Steven Kings IT meets Stranger Things. The Grabber was a great character that could really have become the next Icon of Horror .instead he borderlined on unforgettable. Great performances but the movie played out more as a thriller than the Horror feature that the trailers gave us.

This was a children’s horror movie if you were expecting people to be scared you were wrong Ethan Hawke obviously is taking any role he can get I hope to see this on Disney+ someday because it didn’t scare anybody in the theater but it had a happy ending so that’s why I think Disney should pick it up have it on the little platform Disney horror the black phone thank you for the free tickets

Overall I liked how the brother & sister had similar psychic powers like their deceased Mother apparently had. Intriguing storyline, great soundtrack. I also liked the 8mm film flashbacks. Creepy Villain!

This movie held my interest all the way through it. Great thriller.
