One Battle After Another isn’t just good, it’s the best movie of the year. From the opening frame, I was locked in. No phone, no distractions, nothing else mattered. This film grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go, pulling every emotion out of you: laughter, fear, anger, sadness, and finally relief.

The beginning set a perfect context for what happens after. Penn, Infiniti, DiCaprio, and Del Toro were excellent depicting the whole combo. The girl's Karate skills were not shown which was a little disappointing that it was just a convoluted way to connect the dots on the relationship and how to locate her. Aside from that the script is very much realistic and believable. Excellent camera angle throughout, and perfect costume and make up, especially Sean Penn's face.

Original story, great cast, excellent performances!! Have already reco’d to a friend.
